Cardiff City FC currently competes in the EFL Championship and is affectionately known as 'The Bluebirds.' The team's mascot is a Bluebird named Bartley, and the club approached me for a character design inspired by the mascot costume. This design would be utilised across various platforms, including social media, the juniors section of the match-day programme, and on stadium hoardings.
The specific directive for the project was to create a character design that leaned more towards a bird-like appearance rather than a humanoid figure.
